Our artisanal creations include a wide range of handmade bakery products, following the authentic regional and local culinary traditions. We offer numerous specialities with genuine aromas, using local and organic products such as vegetables, citrus fruits, Sicilian extra virgin olive oil, honey from the Iblei mountains, Avola almonds, and organic sesame from Ispica, a Slow Food presidium.


Traditional recipes are presented in their authenticity, in both ingredients and typical shapes.


In our store and on panificioasta.com, you can discover, taste, and purchase the renowned Ragusan "scaccia," the arancino, the king of Sicilian street food, and other local gastronomic products.


Entering our bakery is accompanied by the intense aroma of naturally leavened bread, made with ancient grains like Tumminia or Timilia, one of the oldest grains in Sicily, and numerous artisanal sweet treats for every moment of the day: from breakfast to snack time to after-dinner.


We are an artisanal biscuit shop that selects high-quality raw materials, eschewing additives and chemicals: among our specialities you will find breakfast cookies, traditional cookies, pastries, and Avola almond nougat, organic sesame nougat called "Giuggiulena" or Cobaita, and many other delights for special occasions, like the artisanal panettone available in various flavors, appreciated not only at Christmas!
